Times are changing...
After many faithful years of service, our vicar Paul has retired - and so, it seems (and for a while now), has our church clock!

As we look to the future and celebrate a season of change (we are excited to welcome our new vicar Matt Southcombe who will be joining us in March!), we want to mark this moment in a meaningful way. What better symbol than the clock that has ticked through baptisms, weddings, funerals, church gatherings and village life for generations?
The church clock has fallen silent – and it's time (pun intended!) to bring it back to life. We’re launching a fundraising campaign to restore it to full working order.
With your help, we can ensure it keeps time for the next generation and becomes a centrepiece once again for the people of Clifton.

Why It Matters
The clock is a symbol of continuity and community
It’s a talking point, a meeting point, and a landmark
It's part of our church’s history – and future...
The church clock has fallen silent – and it's time to bring it back to life.

Our Goal
We’re aiming to raise £35,000 to cover the cost of full restoration by a specialist horologist. Every pound brings us closer.
Whether you give a little or a lot, your donation will be part of something that lasts far beyond today.

Thank you for helping us mark this moment of change – and for being part of what’s next.
Donations can be made in person to Mark Parsons, our Operations Manager, at Christ Church Office, Linden Gate, Clifton Down Road, Bristol BS8 4AH. Alternatively to Peter or David (contact details below) who would be only too pleased to meet you in person and explain the scheme. Or you can click on the 'DONATE' button at the top of the page.
